Raw Adaptogenic Bars

Makes 8 bars


INGREDIENTS

1 cup almonds

1 cup brazil nuts

1cup of dates

1/2 cup chia seeds

8 servings of your adaptogen of choice (we love this with Power, Freedom on the menstruation sachet from Harmony. If you use Calm or Focus, please also add some cacao)

1 tablespoon of honey (optional)

3 cups of water

METHOD

Soak nuts together overnight in 2 cups of water, drain and rinse well. Soak dates overnight in one cup of water, drain and rinse well.

Blitz nuts in a blender until finely ground (keep a few back for the top) – add dates and blitz again for 10 seconds, add adaptogens and blitz for 5 seconds to mix.

Check the consistency, add some water if too dry and have a quick taste, add some honey if you want them sweeter.

Place on parchment paper and flatten out with a rolling pin using parchment paper on top to roughly around 1 cm thick.

If you have a dehydrator – dehydrate for 24 hours or if not, pop into the fridge until set and cut into 8 slices
